Today we honor Hrant Dink, who has lost his life in the battle with Turks for the acceptance of Armenian Genocide

It was only nine decades ago that the Turks tortured and killed over 1.5 million Armenians. Today, on January 19 2007, Turkey has once again proved that it responsible for the Armenian Genocide and showed that although a century has passed, their nature and mentality has not changed.
Hrant Dink, born in Malatya and best known for his role as the columnist and editor-in chief of "AGOS" weekly newspaper, was shot on Jan. 19, 2007. His work can be regarded as the voice of Armenian community and his life was the price that he and all Armenians have paid, for the truth. History should be acknowledged, in order to avoid its repetition. Turkey has never accepted its guilt in Armenian Genocide and is bound to walk through the path of shame and dishonor.
